Over the years I have added this and that and now have three, 6 gang panels . I want to upgrade all onto one, 20 gang, panel with a cigarette charger.....does anyone know where to get one?

I went to my local sports trophy shop with a detailed drawing of what I wanted and they were able to make me one out of black plastic laminate with details of each switch engraved through the black to the white laminate - 18 switches plus 2 socket holes plus instrument holes plus warning notices plus SSR and Call Sign ~ £100
Anyone making nameplates etc should be able to make a coustomised panel for you.

I'll be coming up against this over the winter. I'll need a custom job on a peanuts budget, so I'll make it myself.

For the facia, plan A is to make my own using black plastic and one of the new labelling machines to print white on black. Plan B would be to make a panel face on the 'pooter, laminate it and glue it over whatever (plywood?) I use.

ASAP supplies sell them with up to 12 switches either fused or breaker. You would need to fit 2 to get 20 switches but they are the cheapest solution and good quality.

Taplin will make you a panel to your specification. Excellent quality and a fair price.

Alternatively, make your own. I made up my last panel using circuit breakers from E.C. Smith and a brown anodised aluminium panel made by a local firm of signwriters. Smiths sent me a spec for the breakers which showed the cut-out size needed and the signwriters did the rest. Much more sturdy than plastic.
