Hi all,
For those Solent-based, you may want to know that the Solentmet mobile app has been completely rewritten. It needed it, as the Android version had major problems with newer devices.

Excellent thanks. Has anyone noted that like the windy app it includes hires mapping for the whole of the UK down to house level

Just to say, I've loaded this about 5 times in the last day ..it's really slow..... Like 20+ seconds to open... Just fyi

My copy took about 10 seconds just now, with a fairly poor wifi signal. Not yet tried it on 4g

That's because we're using OpenStreetMap for our mapping.

Is this on an Android device? There's a known problem with slow startup times on Android. That's next on my bug list.
