new solar panels

Shady has two fixed solar panels already installed with a controller.
I want to add another approx 200w so I can use the fridge without discharging the house batteries.
Do I need a new controller for all the panels (new and old) or just a separate one for the new panels ?

Seperate for new panels should work fine and gives you redundancy

Probably need more information on the configuration of the panels, the controller, battery capacity and load. Do you have an MPPT controller?
I agree with the previous reply that, subject to capacity of the existing controller, adding another to provide redundancy in the system would be useful. Would be tempted to spec this for all panels too.

This would most likely be the best way, but i'd like to hear what the current setup is.
