New social groups - cruising with kids & rendezvous

East Coasters,

Just thought I'd let you know I've created 2 new social groups on this 'ere forum:

- Cruising with Kids: general discussion area on how to handle the little *&$%'s on a boat
- Cruising Family Rendezvous: specifically to arrange cruising in company, meet-ups, social events etc for boats sailing "en brat"

This has spun out of a thread on the liveaboard forum but it should be generally helpful to anyone sailing with children.

I hope it's useful and relevant to you, would appreciate posts and content contributions to make it work

Good idea you must have a calender of events, so us non child friendly persons know were to avoid. Seriously a good idea,we have grandchildren to entertain

I hope we'll be able to post a calendar of events and then issue appropriate Notices to Mariners for the areas affected

The Sailing With Kids one has kicked off well with about 18 members last time I looked, I would expect the Rendezvous one to be slow until next year, unless the lucky so-and-so's down in the Caribbean and the Pacific get fired up.
