As Sailorman asked me about the change in Avatar on another thread - the answer is yes.

Pipe and slippers now in situ :p

As an ex yottie I hope I am more courteous than some of our tribe on the wash front

Nice ( for a MoBo ) :)
why the change of type

The Swift did everything I wanted but in our boating partnership there are two of us and SWMBO after her myriad surgery said she wanted a bit more comfort, so I gave in :disgust:

Nice looking boat. I do like the look of Brooms :)
Where is she berthed?

Thanks - Tomahawk is correct she is at Shotley, been there for 8 years find the staff very helpful.

I just need to work out how to drop the radar arch so I can fit and fly my ECF Burgee.

She's a great looking ship, agree about Broom's, they have real class

Thanks CW, we almost had an Elling as the previous two Mobo's were single engine but the sale fell through, so settled on a Broom - build quality of this era is excellent. We have had a fair bit of work done on her and are quite chuffed.

Twin engines are a novelty to get used to but the lock is still intact - currently ;)

She's a great looking boat. If you're going to leave the world of trawlers then a Broom is a pretty good place to end up. Congrats!

Thanks Bouba that was really our thoughts in the end. The Swift Trawler is a super piece of kit I wish you many more happy hours with yours.
