I wonder whether the kitchen/storage units, worktops and those stairs are veneer over marine ply or veneer over something inferior.

Had a scout around for the company that is offering it for sale and they look to have a number of moulds in their yard. Maybe it has all been done properly, maybe extra thickness and stiffeners have been added. The problem is there is no way of knowing.
Is the reason it is being offered unfinished something to do with RCD? seem to remember something about not needing an RCD certificate if it is a self build for own use and not sold for 5 years. Maybe wrong but guessing getting it through it's RCD is not going to be cheap if the people fitting it choose to go that route.
Someone somewhere will buy a cheap SC35 kit boat. Whether it is a bargain or a liability I guess lies in the quality of work and that remains to be seen.
Maybe he has all the documentation for the hull
Boj, I gotta say the stairs look nothing like 30mm to me. More like 15. I fear the blocking is just a printed melamine pattern ie MFC. And the worktop might be melamine faced too but I can't tell from picture. This stuff just won't last in a boat.
Looking at the engines I would be surprised if they are new, just take a look at the pallets they are on and the banding.
