Hello
The rocker switches on our upper helm have weathered badly so I wish to replace the with new, IP66 rated switches but with the legends for wipers, horn etc already on the switch.
Any help in locating marine switches at a decent price would be greatly appreciated.
I am dismantling the entire dashboard including Volvo engine control panels and smartening them all up. The dashboard is currently away to be hydrodipped to give it a durable carbon fibre finish.
The other thing I am struggling with are the corrosion/white marks on the Teleflex engine controls. I can't afford to replace them though I have found replacement transfers for them. Is there a way to polish them up?
Thanks in advance...

Hard to know without a picture but the switches are likely Carling contura V series. Widely available online, including from non marine suppliers (eg mudstuff, furneauxriddall, cactusnav as per above, and I use dun-bri)

The switches are all the same; the actuators can be bought separately and come in different styles. contura 2 has the dimples, contura 3 has the stripes, forget 4, contura 5 are smooth. You can buy them with ready-made legends, at lowish cost. for a more custom look Axon components will paint them and etch custom legends with red-backlighting - pic below is my dash with contura 5 unpainted made by Axon. The red lettering is backlit red at night bmw/audi style, and the white "window bar" lights up red when the switch is turned on. All LED

Thank you for your suggestions and pics.
I need to buy the whole switch new as mine are 25 years old and do not have a detachable cover. They are Carling however so will investigate their current range.
BTW, jfm, I liked your boat! Estupendo!
