New racor 500fg - starving engine of fuel

Hello all,

I recently fitted 2 new 500fg racors in place of my existing separs. The filter on the starboard engine seems to be starving the engine of fuel.The other installation is fine.

I have checked all the lines back to the tank and they are clear. Engine runs fine off the port tank/filter and runs fine off the starboard tank with the filter bypassed and also runs fine with the original separ back in place.

Any ideas on what might cause this?

Are the “ IN “ and “ OUT “ connected the right way round ?
Fuel will only flow through in 1 direction .

A stuck ball or lid not sealing properly as well as Porto’s good suggestion
