this was showcased in south wales UK an attempt to introduce the popular sport of rallying onto the water.

Each craft performed individually against the clock within a race arena which made very exciting viewing.

The youtube clip forms apart of a promo dvd for the city of swansea, the boat crew were actors with only 10 minutes tuition, so I think they can be excused for not taking the boats to its limits.
The 4 teams that performed the showcase put on a very different display. Still not as quick as the new zealand jet sprint boats but then no where near as expensive either. £22,000 gets you a 200hp race ready viper on a road trailer, I believe the jet sprint boats are around 600hp and from the jet sprint clip spends alot of time on dry land !!!!! Great spectating, but I am sure the competitors expereince great costs with the dry land excursions !!!
