Interesting, given the current number of active cases in the respective countries.

Will Portugal put in place similar restrictions regarding Spain?

On Monday 16th Nov, 191 Portuguese municipalities, including Lagos, Portimao, Albufeira, Faro and VRSA all go into more stringent regulations which include requiring people to stay at home but they fall short of complete lock down.

The full government statement and rules are at:- https://www.safecommunitiesportugal.com ... dJ6Ngm6DpE

Boatyards such as Bruce's will most likely close the gates and it won't affect resident owners but, how will marinas (not the surrounding bars etc) deal with the regulations? Will boat movements be stopped?

P.S. Covid test to dinghy from Alcoutim to SanLucar?

Well, the Vila Real - Ayamonte ferry has stopped, but maybe because of lack of passengers
The bridge is still open, but that may change with the new rules coming in.

No-one seems to have a clue what is involved here in Cascais. We don't even know if the curfew allows visits to the toilet block.

Some say tourists are exempt. Boats are still coming and going here. First weekend curfew starts tomorrow.

We have a Residencia appointment at the Citizen Shop on Monday, the bureacracy does not seem to be working from home.

It is going to be very frustrating if we get our new engine then cannot leave after being stuck here for two months.
