After >6 weeks waiting for weather window for CopperCoat and delivery trip from Lymington.

Launched and ready to go, but blowing F8, so decided to remain on pontoon

At last, Thursday morning, left Lymington 4:40, Sunrise and compulsory wake shot up the West Solent

Taking the inshore route past Portland Bill, Race looked a bit hostile further out

Safely past the Bill, so last wake shot as delivery skipper handed over to me for a smooth pasage across Lyme Bay

We just need to have a good summer now!

Congratulations, and nice pictures. 6 weeks is a heck of a wait! Glad you made it eventually. Watch out if inviting les Hurricanes to a party. They'll turn up on a big jetski and after a few drinks you'll have a computer full of plane tickets and a berth in St Carles :-)
(Mind you, that wouldn't be a bad outcome!)

Congrats on your new boat, she looks very pretty. Bet you were excited and nervous all in one bundle.

'Love the wake shot, a red sky like this should be setting in the west, bet the red sky in the morning must have had you worried for a bit with a long passage ahead.

Thanks for posting, great timing for getting in time for the good summer on its way.

Hi.
I've seen the name "Panacea" before. Out of curiosity, did you used to own a Regal ventura? :)

Yes, great pics and fingers crossed for a decent summer after this dreadful start.

Si

Re the question, my previous 'Panacea' was a Merry Fisher 705, also berthed in Torquay. She was sold from Lymington, and I think the name may have been changed.

Yes, this is last year's post. We had a very enjoyable summer getting to know the Nimbus, and are just frustrated by the poor weather since October. I guess we all just need the weather to improve
