New overnight moorings

On the back of the landing stages project (now complete) - the Environment Agency have installed some mooring posts at East Farleigh and Teston on the Medway
Nothing exciting... but hopefully of some use.

Thanks for the info squirrel.Thats the final piece in the jigsaw ,especially those piles at Teston which now gives somewhere to stop after Farleigh but before the EA moorings at Yalding.Will be up at Easter to check them out.
Ps Assume you get a copy of the MYA magazine and therefore saw the article where somebody attempted to get a smallish yacht (with the mast stepped) up the river.
Think he got as far as Hempstead Lock before his keel prevented further progress.
Nice to see something a bit different above the lock,couple of years ago parked next to a largish Jeauneau fast fisher up at Yalding.Our frequent trips to Maidstone will be bit more pleasurable because we can now nip up to the moorings below Farleigh rather than put up with the noise in the town centre.
