NEW MEMBER NEW COOKER NEEDED

GREETINGS ALL
DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHO MAKES A SINGLE RING BURNER SUITABLE FOR MY HUMBLE LITTLE BOAT-ORKNEY DAY ANGLER.
I HAVE ONE OF THOSE INTEGRAL CANNISTER THINGS AND WOULD LIKE SOMETHING A LITTLE BETTER. MOST I HAVE LOOKED AT ARE DOUBLE BURNERS AND TOO BIG. SOMEBODY TOLD ME ARVOR BOATS HAVE A DECENT STOVE BUT I CANNOT SOURCE THEM.

Hi Bassman - welcome aboard. You really should try camping shops for stuff like this. Purchasing equipment from non-marine outlets has been done to death on this forum, but nonetheless, its worth going over again occassionaly. There are bound to be some useful compact single burner gas or parrafin stoves available at a fraction of the price from a chandlers (aka swindlers!)

Hi if you go here
go to the cabin & galley tab, then cookers on the left hand side & go down the Origo 1500 spirit stove, it could be just what you are looking for.
