New md22 rev counter, VOX or Wema

Going to be getting a new rev counter for my engine. 2 are available, VDO, or Wema, both through Furneaux Riddal. My question is any of these gauges better in terms of reliability, quality, ease of fitting/connection than the other. Not so bothered about cost, although Wema is cheaper, but no hrs run. Would have to fit a seperate hrs run meter with the Wema guage.

Go for one with a mechanical hour meter or get the one without a hour meter and fit a mechanical one separately.( mechanical display not LCD)
