Page 157. This guy bought one in 1997, sold it 2002, Cat engines, kept in UK then trucked to SofF, retrofitted the p38 table and engine room sound insulation. yup, engine room sound insulation. I wouldn't be surprised if even Fairline thought this was the quietest T48 ever. First name matthew. Next name has a John in it. Sounds all a bit familiar, but I can't quite be sure. Picture looks like a random computery guy from Getty images. Anyone know this chap? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mmm, once met a T48 owner in an unfortunate red leather coat with a name like this. Take away the cheapo syrup and NHS specs and it looks just like him
Can confirm what he says about the T48 though. Fairline fixed the noise insulation foam on our boat with Post-It Note adhesive so it fell off whenever we hit a wave. Also, rotating shower doors absolutely effing useless because support wheels nowhere near strong enough. No probs with our cockpit table though.

Imagine if this guy was allowed to soundproof other things.

A Ferarri without its V8 roar ..... The 'silent' Rolling Stones ...... A quiet City of Manchester stadium during a soccer game, oops, sorry someone already thought of that ;; /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hmmm, didn't really want to start a v8 v V12 debate but as this is a quiz show ..

" Name a great V12 Ferarri?"

Ducking for a week or so ....

Mmmm definitely a TCM job.

Regarding the colour, I reckon that white suits T48's particularly well, thus they are the only Targa where blue is not essential.

To whoever did write this article, thanks for the website plug.
