New marina - Costa del Sol

I heard about this a week or so ago.
It will be good to get a marina there as the one in Fuengirola is not exactly well presented.
There is a real struggle for moorings here. Might relieve some pressure from places like Marbella and Banus.
The marketing page is special, apparently land is now blue and the water is sandy...
I wonder how long the project will take. Does anyone know.
There is also a project to develop the harbour at Malaga. I have seen some blue prints and it looks very interesting, real estate is available as well as they are putting up appartments.

Very interesting. The map is not clear,I think the new marina will be just west of La Cala before Calahonda. I will be able to see it from my house. Was thinking of relocating up to the Bay of Rosses where I understand the coast is more intresting. Is anyone familiar with this area ?

I do hope that it will do the area some good. Not sure how close this is to Mijas Costa, but we had a holiday there two years ago and it was dissappointing. This was due to the very busy road that cuts right through it - noisy trafffic even at 03:00.
The coast was pleasing to look at but this road had just killed off all businesses below the road to the beach. All except for one - Antonio's restaurant, which was nice.

We stayed in a friends time share in costa mijas about 5yrs ago and your right about the road however we enjoyed it and a nice marina at calahonda.
