New Mainsail - Shakedown Report!

Well, the saga is finally over. Albeit two weeks late, Doyle have supplied us with a fantastic new sail. Big, beautiful shape, solidly constructed and some lovely "touches" (a very clever shelf for one...)
We have had a fab weekend zooming about, playing with trip, bending, un bending, twisting, vanging etc etc and got some pretty good boat speeds too.

Shelf? How do they hang a shelf on a sail, and why do you want one? don't you have any cupholders on the boat?

I reckon the shelf is for stocking a supply of Doyle's sales brochures!
