New mainsail for Westerly Centaur

Submit your request to 4 or 5 of the nationally advertised sailmakers such as Kemps, Crusader, Arun, Jeckells etc making clear what you want and you will get a range for comparison. All the sailmakers provide useful information to help you decide about the alternatives in materials cuts and detail specification to help you understand what might be good for you. Then decide on a detailed spec and get quotes. You may well find there is little difference spec for spec as it is a very competitive market!

You could ask the Westerly Owner's association, they may have a tie-in with a sail loft.
Vega owners get a good deal from Quay Sails, this works both ways: we get a discount, they get more sales, and the guys know the boat really well so you know you're getting the right choice.
I took delivery of my new genoa this afternoon :)

OTOH, everyone seems to get a good quote from Crusader, they were nearly as cheap as Quay for me.

Can anyone suggest who to approach for a Westerly Centaur mainsail and what would be an acceptable price.

Saturn sails at Largs seem to have a very good reputation. I like Nicholson-Hughes at Rosneath, but they can be a wee bit pricey.

If new could mean new to you then it might be worth checking with Seateach, and putting an advert on the Westerly Owners' Association website.
