I intend to replace my ageing Baby Blake with a different one. But which?-there are so many to choose from.
Price is not the issue - in this area comfort and reliability come tops. What do you recommend for comfort, reliabilty, ease of use and maintenance?
PS I would only consider electric with a manual back-up!

Lavac...

I've had a Lavac on several boats over the years. They're simple, rugged and reliable. The pump is much more powerful than on most loos.

I've not seen the new version...are they as rugged as the original?

Got to be a Lavac. Simple to use and no problems. Electrickery - why? The manual pump is so simple. Don't think many electric loos do manual as well but the Lavac can.

Has to be a Lavac. Not only simple & reliable BUT makes another highly efficient bilge pump! 1.5inch ID taped so it fits tightly down the 'hole' in the loo. Make the pipe long enough to reach nearest part of the bilge. With the Henderson Mk V pump it moves a lot of water!
