New live webcam on Southend pier

Hello, first post here. Thought some of you might be interested. Southend Pier have launched their new live webcam at the pierhead.
Looks like there are 10 different preset views, shame they haven't used one or more to give a decent view out across the channel rather than limited inshore views.

The Southend one has limited use for sailors although providing the RNLI flag keeps flying there is at least and indication of wind speed and direction. The IOS one is much better although too depressing of late ;-)

Well that didn't last long. There were 10 different camera views switching in sequence. Now just one continuous live view showing the main deck of the pier extension. What a waste of a probably very expensive camera system.

Shame it's not possible to tie up alongside any of the piers on the east coast. Would make great lunch stops!

Looking at southend pier, I’m not sure there much to stop you for dropping off or picking up crew, if you were in and out in 10 mins or so?
