New Jaguar

It looks fantastic but a bit too much like the new AM V8 (same designer - Callum?) so danger is peeps think you're not rich enough to afford the AM. I worry about 2 things though. Jag have given us tasters of new products in the past and then not delivered and, secondly, lets hope they make it handle better than pipe 'n slippers XK, like a real alternative to a 911 and give it a proper manual or semi manual gearbox as well
Should be a great buy at 3yrs old for about £20k though!!

Now that would get me to buy a car again! I'm a Jag fanatic, having owned 10 in my life, all classics, this is the beastie for me. But will be tooooo expensive.

I think it is very nice, was tempted to put down a deposit but local Jaguar dealer wanted £2k, would have done it if he had wanted £500.

I have owned a Jaguar before and am tempted to buy another, possible an XJR. My XJ6 was very reliable but servicing was a bit expenses at £1k a go!!!!

I'd just buy the real thing and have the Aston, it will work and bet the Jag won't sound half as good. Followed a new Aston down an underpass and nearly had an accident with the noise it made. Had Jags before and every one of them gave trouble and dropped a shed load of money on each, you'd think I'd have learnt the first time around.

'Bout time they remembered they are sports car manufacturers!

As long as it has the right price differential between it and the AM models it will be a winner. Might even treat myself as I'm not shallow enough to worry whether people think I can't afford the Aston. . . . . . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
