picture and write up on my blog

this is a very innovative design and IMO should give a good quality competitive offer to the market
I pretty like its design and I am impressed by it's cockpit
Intermare are usually well build boats and the price is not harmful
have a look and as usall comments are welcome /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Flybridge sun pad looks a bit dangerous with almost no guard rail, so i'll have to ban all the scantily clad women on my boat from romping up there.

The convertible cockpit seat to allow you to sit facing outwards is an absolutely fab idea, i can just imagine lounging on there watching scantily clad women fall off the flybridge.

Lots of nice features and italian style inside. Gorgeous wood inside. But ugly profile imho - the windscreen angle isn't right. I thought Birchwood/Reliant Robin when I saw it. I too liked the transom sofa gizmo. A few detials (daft bar stools, horribly upholstered lower helm chair) looked low-grade. Also Intermare's copywriter needs to change all those "it's" to "its".

sorry for the language as it is Italian

[/ QUOTE ]Not that anyone's going to loose a lot, anyway.
Their marketing manager's look is decent, but the same can't be said of her speech...

I think it's a rubbish design IMHO if the layout plan on the website is correct. I take it the midships cabin is supposed to be the master cabin? Why then is the bed stuffed in a corner? At this level, owners expect a walkround bed. The 3rd cabin looks like a joke, far too small to be usable. The saloon design is poor. Is anyone really going to perch on those stools on the port side? The storage in the galley is non existent, the fridge is far too small and those silly plastic (glass?) slats on the countertop eat into what is already a very small countertop area. The flybridge is OK'ish but the wind protection and guardrails are far too low. And as jfm said, it looks like a Birchwood
Compared to the AZ50, Phantom 48/50, Princess 50, even the Sealine T50, it's not at the races

Mike you are spot on for
- walkaround master/midship cabin
- wind protection
biggest competitors and similar layout would be the Sealine T 50 and 48 Phantom both full beam mid-ship cabin
on the third cabin I don't agree much as all these boats have small third bunk bed cabin
worth also noting of what looks spacious is the cockpit, crew cabin but also both heads, with the guest head looking of very good proportions

the Az 50, Phantom 50, Princess 50 have no full beam cabin so this changes many things

as for some finishing details I imagine this to be hull no.1 so I imagine quite some changes and modifications to happen in the previous builds
personally I like the design and also the color Grey, which makes her look a bit old, but I am ready to bet that if seen for real it looks much better

OK, I agree that if there is a midships owner's cabin on a boat of this size, the 3rd cabin is likely to have bunk beds but the Intermare's 3rd cabin looks particularly small. But I don't agree that boats like the AZ50 and Phantom 50 are not competitors for this boat. Yes they don't have midships master cabins but they have other attributes which may be more important for some buyers. Incedentally the Princess 50 will shortly be redesigned with a midships master cabin. I did'nt think the Intermare had a particularly large cockpit but I've never seen it in the flesh of course
On the subject of price, there is an Intermare dealer in the UK (Bates Wharf) and I don't think their prices are all that cheap
