Is their any truth in that if you buy a Spacher for a Lorry, they are much cheaper and the same heater??
If yes, what are the problems and were can I get one?

If you go for the Ebbie, Watch out When you buy the cheap Ebbie (lorry kit & 12V) which is a good price, as the kit only comes with a small amount of pipe - just enough for a lorry, but not enough for a boat. We failed to spot that and ended up buying pipe afterwards

What about a Wallas - I got fed up with the motor brushes wearing out in my Eberspacher and costing €600 to replace the motor and fan unit. Wallas is repairable and they are much nicer people to deal with. Eberspacher didn't care about my problem.

We have a Webasto Airtop 5000 and it does well - heating our wee beastie with seven outlets!
That's more hot air than a Friday night at FYC!

There are people you can get these from who are not as expensive as the 'marine' guys (see pm).
