Yep, the auto systems work really well. I never thought that I find a company who charge more than Volvo though - the auto function with QL tabs cost about the same, and you get the tabs.

The bennets system has been around for a few years as well, and also works a treat, though they do not offer the power trim function...
 
Are those tabs any good. Being based with EBY I see a lot of boats but have never seen one with those fitted, yet you say they have been round for some time. Are they as good as conventional tabs which seem to be fitted on most boats that EBY handle?
 
They are much more efficient than the trad style bennets tabs. As they are verticle, you need less tab to affect the attitude of the boat. Better for fuel economy and they auto retract when powered off so dont fowl.

On small and mid sized boats they work well and I woulndt go back. on the bigger stuff the reviews are more mixed.

I have had both, and these QL are easier to use, and the auto system is sperb, especially when hooked up wih the VP power trim assist on the D6 engines
