I hasvr just received an invitation from Essex Boatyards to LBS to see the Fairline stand. It contains a shrouded image of what looks like a very sleek hull shape and the strap-line "A new range. New Innovations. A vision of the Future"

Does Fairline have something new up their sleeves or is this just marketing hype?

I was wondering that too. Here's the pic...

Yes v intriguing. I can't imagine that Fairline would use an image that is so obviously unlike any of their existing range without there being some substance behind it. Maybe a range of boats to rival Sunseeker's old Hawk series now that Sunseeker seems to have abandoned this market segment? Just a guess

There has been talk of a ~30ft Fairline for a few years. That's all I know.

It is all very well getting an invite to the stand, but have you got the Platinum VIP ticket that gets you past the red rope?

Not to mention a resume of your boating history together with two forms of photographic ID and a recent utility bill to confirm your location so that 'your' salesman can show you round…. :)
