New CYC website/forum

Just to let you know that the new Cardiff website http://www.cardiffyachtclub.org/ and forum http://cardiffyachtclub.proboards.com/index.cgi are up and running. The forum is only open to members, but I believe guests are able to read it.

I've been seconded in to administrate the forum, so no doubt it will be choas until I work out what I'm doing. Hope to see some of you there.

Clearly, it will not stop us all posteing here, as normal.

I just tried to look at cbyc yacht club forum and it says page not found.

I honestly don't know if it will be any good, but we may as well give it a try. It's great being administrator, I've already had a few undesirables try to gain access. One in particular, I've been warned about.



I'm still not sure if it's supposed to be for CYC members only, so if you have tried to register and are not a member, please bear with me until someone clarifies it for me.

OK, it seems that what I said in ths first post is incorrect. Apologies. the forum is open to nonCYC members, so if you are interested in joining, feel free.
