Hi Mike, are you so popular that you have make your own crew these days then? Still by the time you get that boat sorted, he should be about ready for his first trip /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congrats and all that! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Charlie.

He looks like he's got "attitude"..... think he'll be a "racer" rather than a "cruiser" ???? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Congratulations!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hi Mike - no, we don't know each other - but ooooooooooooooo I LOVE babies - so-oo adorable and cuddly! What a cutie - no wonder you want to show him off! Congratulations!!

Hell's teeth! can't you keep that perishin' avatar still? bloody thing is sending me boss eyed! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well done to Mrs Mike as well.
We just had our first Grandson, and it is great feeling even one generation removed.
Hope you have the baby seat fitted in the boat. Mine is!

What a gorgeous little boy. Congratulations. Invest your love time and affection early - it will pay of when he's a teenager!

SWMBO reckons if boat takes as long to finish as kitchen He'll be past it by time ready for water /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. Am at present looking into aquiring an old wayfarer, I think that extending the centerboard by 6' and adding about 100lb of lead in a 'bomb' at the end it should make it 100% self righting. then by grafting on the all weather cover from the pram along with substantial cash sponseship deals from Farleys, Pampers and the manufacturers of Huggies we will go for a new world record for the youngest solo Transatlantic crossing. Future financial independance will be assured by developing a new baby bouyancy nappy along the way. By 2008 I will be able to order a new Tarquin Trader and live happily ever after. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ah! foresee technical hitch re. new baby bouyancy nappy? If poor little sod ever has to use it, he will be upside down in the oggin, now unless your family all come fitted with gills, maybe this aint such a hot idea? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Given his already impresive ability to push copious amounts of the smelly stuff up the back of his babygrow the new floatation nappy (pat pending) would be extended up the back to form a floatation collar. The business end would of course have to have an extra large capacity to take account of the 6-8 week expected crossing time. The other problem I envisage is that at current levels of smelly stuff production, such a nappy would after the aformentioned 6-8 weeks use constitute a serious hazard to navigation if jettisoned. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. As a matter of interest, for a suitably huge cash injection I could let you in on this potential gold mine /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif.(But keep it to yourself cos we don't want anyone else stealing this idea!) /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif.
