New Corvette 340

Agreed, I like it too. I am a fan of corvettes. We looked at them before buying our most recent, but they were too far above budget at the time...!

What a cracker she looks.

I am dying to see inside, especially the larger aft cabin. I belive the prototype will be at Southampton Boat Show.

Still I will carry on cruising in my Corvette 320 until I win the lottery.
(N.B. note to self - Buy a ticket.)

Best wishes,

Paul

Bang for bucks

The full width aft cabin will transform the internal space but to my eyes it has not enhanced the appearance, but then I didn't like the full width aft cabin on the Grand Banks, either.

Not odd looking at all!..

...she's just plain ugly, if we want to call a spade a spade.
And mind, I love the trawlers and their looks - in fact I own one.
But such style just doesn't match with anything below 40' or so at the very least.
All imho, as always, and strictly meant as an aesthetic comment.
Other than that, I'm sure she's an excellent boat.

I have always liked the corvette 32, but somehow I think this new design of raising the aft deck right across the stern makes plain uglyrather than unusual. Great boats though

A question of degree of course, it's rugged looks and practical design rather than swooping sexy curves, but I don't think it is too bad for a small trawler and neither is the Swift 34. If we are talking unpleasant looks bring on the Nordic Tug 32. I can smell the old fish odour of the Redcar fishing boats that I walked passed as a lad when I see a picture of a Nordic.

...then there's the other issue, I have been indicated a 340 Corvette with a decent spec will be £400k... a Swift 34 is nearly half that... but its no Corvette..

Phew, a lot of money for 34ft, Fleming name or not. Will they get many buyers at that level in wonder, though the exchange rate can't be helping the sterling price.
