I am thinkingof posibly buyinga new boat about 8 to 11 metres long, and it is very important that it has walkaround feature which is nice to have and safe too. Does anyone have any ideas/pix I wonder?

I suggest you look at something Scandanavian, but I can't help you any further, perhaps some other forumites may be able to help

I would recommend something like this:

Sorry, don't know much about it, as there seems to be a great shortage of pics of it on these forums, not sure why?
Maybe we'll get some more soon!

There's just something a little bit odd about the design of that boat, and can't quite put my finger on it. Tis like the aft section hasn't been completed, like it's about 1 metre or so too short. Or maybe it's just a Swedish thing. Bit like Saab, they make odd cars which are driven by odd people. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif No offence intended.

I object to posts like this. It's just blatant commercialisation of what is intended to be a forum for posting sneaky pics of young ladies en dishabille, thinly disguised as boaty images.

Let's face it, we all know what your game is: "I am thinking of buying a new boat.." forsooth. Translates as "Come and look at my website where I'm selling a new range of boats" unless I am very much mistaken.

It is a big arch, but does work in the flesh. I know what you mean about the thickness at the base. It is low, which makes the boat look longer but I think they need the thickness to ensure it is properly supported and strong.

A different angle here:

I think maybe its because half the base of the radar arch is over the glass, kind've looks like it should slide down a bit further!!

Jez are my eye's playing tricks or is there a stainless rail round the top of the windsceen...sort of like they have on Windy's??

Hi Jez,

I think the problem from my point of view is the arch sitting over the side screens. The boat has fantastic lines but spoilt in that area imho. Would look much sleeker if the arch continued after the screen and not sat on it.
