hi!! i have this little motor boat.. i've boat just a few weeks ago.. well, i still can't use it so i left it in my aunt's place near the dock.. just want to ask if motor boat needs registration?? i might afraid that i may violate a law..:D thanks!!! princess_felize

You don't need registration unless you propose to go out of UK waters with it. You should of course review any local bylaws with regard to speed limits and other restrictions.

Where are you based?

Here in the UK you only need a license for the boat if you're operating on certain inland waterways, or going abroad. You don't need an operators license or any sort of qualification, although it will be cheaper and more enjoyable in the long run if you actually know what you are doing and can keep out of trouble before you set out.
Other countries have different laws, you could enquire at a local sailing club or the harbour master's office.
