My work here is done, by Monday I'll be the hopefully proud owner of a Dufour 38 Classic

She's out of the water now for 3 weeks, looking forward to getting her into shape before heading back to her new home in Southern Brittany

Several minor bits and pieces to do from the survey but nothing not anticipated

Unfortunately my user name on here no longer fits but it at least will remind me of my 20 years of Oyster ownership, the new owner loves her

As an aside, anyone looking for a broker I would heartily recommend John Wilson of Yachtsnet, as was recommended to me on this forum and who did a first class job of managing the sale of my previous boat - I take back anything I ever thought about brokers !

A good broker is worth every penny
Imo too

Happy shakedown cruise !

To conclude this thread, it's done, it's over, the boat is mine.

We'll be down there tomorrow to start clearing out an awful lot of 'stuff', the yard are giving the engine and saildrive a full service and we'll be thoroughly cleaning and preparing for fresh antifoul before departure in a couple of weeks.
