New boat options!

It looks like I am going to go large for the new season and treat myself to a new boat.. Well new to me anyway!

Looking to PX the Mariah and get something 34-40 ft

Budget around £75k after heavy winter negotiations.

So far the Sunseeker Martinique looks a favourite.. a nice clean 10-12 year old model with the 230hp KADS

Anything else I should consider?

I am looking for something that can crack 32 knots WOT and cruise happily all day at 25-26 knots. Looks the part with proven long term reliability

Sleeping for 4 to 6 adults..

Space for a tender and be able to fish from the cockpit area.

Nice space for enteraining with good protection in the winter months.

Anything else to consider? or am I asking too much?

Theres a hell of a difference between 34 and 40ft. I'd say you want a Princess or Fairline fly bridge maybe even a Sealine. Just a question of finding one to fit your bugit.

Fairline Targa 33/34/35 are probably the best in that size and price. About 37' LOA.

The 34 and 35 have transom doors which is nice. Don't think the martinique has unless you go for a 39.

At the top end, lenght wise, we saw a 40' sunseeker in Cowes Yacht Haven weekend before last (red hull), it looked pretty tidy on the outside but had covers on so couldn't see the interior. Looked like a lot of boat for £100k price tag, though you'd probably struggle to get them down to your budget unless you were a bit flexible.

We had a Sealine S37 year before last and it was a great boat, though not everyone's cup of tea styling wise - loads of space though, and may find one close to your budget.
