Looks really nice hope you have lots of fun in her!

?Is that the permanent arrangement for stowing the main as I would be a bit concerned about having all those white bits exposed to UV and general atmospheric fall out?

Have just looked at the specs for the boat on the Hanse web site looks the d--gs b------ks,would be interested in feedback on your experience with her.

No, there is a cover that goes over the end of the sail. I was in too much of a hurry to get some photos before tidying up!

Ive not had much chance for a good sail yet, we only picked her up on Saturday and spent most of the day with Hanse going through the systems. we had a quick sail Sunday AM without the Jib (not ready yet) she went realy well under main, cant wait to try it with all the sail up.

I must say David and James at Hanse Windermere have been fantastic, the boat was in perfect order when we picked her up, even a bottle of Champagne chilling in the fridge!

See you took the wheel option!! Wise choice!!
Check the hose to the engine water inlet. Mine was too short & had a kink in it ,restricting the amount the engine could draw just above the inlet valve.
You are right about Hanse service though. They spent a couple of hours going through everything. A friend of mine bought a 200K Jenneau motor boat & was told the hand over cruise could not exceed 10 mins as there was not enough fuel to get them to their berth.!!!
I missed out on the champers. Did get a discount though so can't really complain.
I don't suppose you will get any F9's on Windemere before you can get to safety but if you did you can be sure she will look after you. It did for me. Been there had the T shirt& am waiting for the film. Gorgeous boat. Good luck

Congratulations Adrian - lovely boat.
If you don't already use it - see www.myhanse.com - to meet fellow owners.

It's an amazing system.. had one on my previous boat, and while everyone else is flaking and stowing their mains, I would drop mine and zip it up !!
Hope he has lots of fun....
