Seems ages ago (last May) when SWIMBO and I were drinking the bubbly from the dealer after ordering our new Cruisers 420. Has finally arrived. Not much to look at but we have had a look inside after crawling through a hole in the shrinkwrap. Had a look in the engine compartment at the VP D6's 370hp ips. Can't wait to hear them running. Will post more pics when it's unwrapped and put together. [image]

Great looking boat, congrats! There are a few of those at the dealers in Portishead, sexy black hulls.
Look forward to seeing some more pics.

Thanks Al. Hope she will be in water by next weekend. If you are down that way call by and say hello. My berth is astern of the big raggie cat.

I bet you cant wait Neil,I'm glad to see that they have given you a better berth although I'm sure you would not have any problems parking this boat in a tight spot unlike the previous one.You wont even need fenders on this boat if you come through the Crinan canal with us this year.Book me in for a test drive when it is on the water.Congratulations and lets hope we have a better summer this year.

Congratulations, very well thought of boats in the US.
Would be very interested to read your delivery reports?

First dry day since boat arrived. It's been unwrapped. Still no roof yet - it's getting done later today. Will now have to wait for weekend to see it. However, I do have loads of instruction booklets to keep me occupied.

In the water at last. Handover fairly straight forward although wasn't able to go out as the weather was bad. Have to wait till next week for sea trial. At least it's mine now.

Congratulations!
Did she come with the A/F paint, or was it done by the dealer?
I don't want to spoil your excitement of course, the boat is lovely anyway, but it doesn't seem properly aligned.
I guess you'll put some stuff (=weight) in the cabins, but an aft tender might more than compensate that, thus increasing the misalignment.

Looks very nice indeed, with or without her roof on. A friend of mine has a new Cruisers 300 on order, it probably arrived on the same ship. I know its here but not sure which week he'll take delivery.

He's probably as excited as you by now. Good luck with it and enjoy, you're gonna love those engines btw, great bit of grunt! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
