So after our old boat needing new engines we will be fitting Nanni's with nanni dashboards. As part of this we are going to redo the whole wheelhouse.
Things we intend to fit:
DSC radio
Big plotter plus external antenna
AIS transceiver
New instruments: log, depth, compass
Tossing up whether to go with broadband/normal radar
Also autohelm possible
Now we currently have only a Standard Horizon internal ant CP-300i.
Do we do separate plotter and VHF or go with a SH 550? What other combos would work. We will need new logs, sounders in hull as well.
Anyone have pics of good instrument layouts in an older style boat's wheelhouse?
