New boat canopy. Can someone recommend a good company ?

Hi everyone,

New to the forum and trying to work it out. Hope i have the correct section?
I'm looking for recommendations on who to use for a new canopy. Boat arrives next week and we will be mooring it near Worcester on the river Severn. So any recommendations please. The boat is a Princess 42 so a fair size canopy.

Welcome in the Parish. Don't know any canvas work contractors near you though you'll have plenty of recommendations from the East, South and South West coasts. Your part of the world not as well serviced by the marine contractor trade I suspect. Best ask around the marina for local recommendations.

I went to open day a few weeks ago at a local marina to me. They advertise a local chap but when i walked around and starting asking about his work i was hearing complaint after complaint so i don't want to use him. Hence im asking on here. I hope that i can find someone down south that is willing to travel or a name local to me would be a bonus but only the one name was coming up but was a negative as in " well dont use the local chap " People seemed more concerned in telling me who not to use rather than someone who could do a quality job. It seemed that you had to go with this chap and lump it as there was no one else.
 
If you're in Worcester and you want someone to travel to measure, then come back and fit, your best bet might to look for someone from the Bristol Channel area. I don't know the area from a boaty point of view, but plenty here do.

There's even a Bristol Channel forum here, but I've no idea how active it is.
