Hi, I have a Monterey 250 which I bought from Southwater Marine at Hamble.
They couldn't have been more help, you could try and give them a ring I dont know what they have in stock but it may be worth a try.
I don't know where you are in the UK so this may be miles away for you.

Good luck
Regards
Stuart

What about a New Rinker 270 with a Volvo D4/260hp. Looked at this at the boat show and really liked it, Comes fully kitted out with remote Windlass, remote spot light, Computerised on bash engine display thingy, TV/DVD player,Hot and Cold Water, Transom Shower, Trim Tabs, Mircowave, Hob, Fridge, Cockpit Sink, full camper and Tonneau covers to name but a few.

The dealer is a the dealer that i've bought my last boat from, currently advertising it for £71,285, but were doing a show deal for £64,995, and talking to them last week they are still offering me a hell of a good deal, so i'd recon, you'll still get it for that. Wee bit over your bugdet but a bloody good boat.
The dealer is:

If you want their Tel no, I'll PM it too you, and if you do phone them ask for Robin.

I second Cambrian & Rinker's - Robin did me a good deal last year ( as far as a saleman would! ) and would recommend this dealership.

They have a couple of nearly new (second owner!) Rinker 270 for sale which appear tidy and worth a look although imho the Yanmar 240 on one of them may be a little underpowered for the 270 as I have this on my 242.

Thanx for some ideas. I popped up to Rinker Direct todayas that way seeing friends and looked at the Rinker 250 and 270 cruisers. Not my cup of tea im afraid. The cockpits were very plasticy and cheapish looking and cloth interior with dodgy looking galley just didnt do it. The 232 they had there in black and white was stunning but too small for what i need.
Maxums not a fan look after an SCR3000 looks very dated.
Yes im being fussy may have to speak to the MD see if she will let me have some more pennies.
Looked at Monterey before but the 245/250 just a tad to small very much on my list but just too far out of my grasp.
