Bear with me as it is always safer to ask than not.:)

I removed my 3 120ah batteries from our Leader 805, one of which was found to be dead (holding less than 5v, both the others are holding 12.7v), so I'm replacing the set.
The starter battery connects to the other two via a Victron Energy Cyrix-i 12/24V 400A Intelligent Battery Combiner. My question, is there a specific sequence of reconnecting batteries, ie: connect all positives before connecting the negative terminals or connect each battery poss and neg individually in sequence?

many thanks

Turn them off at the isolation switches, I don’t think it really matters how you reconnect them as if off they see nothing and nothing ( potentially voltage surge sensitive ) cannot see them .

That was my logic too but just wanted to check first, thanks for the reply

On a car, you connect positive first so that if the spanner touches the bodywork there is no fizz bang.
If the boat batteries are close to something grounded like an engine, it might be an idea to do the same thing.
If not, it doesn't matter which way around you connect.
As above, isolation switches should be off.
