Were you refering to me as the 'hon member'?

1st time for everything! Nice one.

I read through the postings, and can only say, I'm rather glad I missed it, it got a little heated didn't it?! I hope everyones back on speaking terms?

People I met and hung with in 'St. Vincent were robbed of $25,000 worth of gear in Margarhita, they never really got over it, and one of the kids (about 14) developed a fear of visiting new places. Its not about the gear you lose I guess, that can be replaced, its about the fear you develop, which replaces your confidence faster than any bullet can fly at.

Hang on, just recalled, they were Canadian and boy did they talk... Sorry matey, your theory has been called into question!

Have worked out that it ain't worth nicking passports of Canadian boats, as I think I got it right in the end that it worked out all the crew just share one passport between them.

Re:How Canada got its name

So two northern frontiersmen are sitting around the campfire one night on this newly discovered continent, playing scrabble and wondering what to name this fine new land of opportunity..
'Lets just pull letters from the bag, shall we?'
''OKdoke, I'll go first..and its a C''
''Aye''
'It's an N'
''Aye''
''D''
''Aye''........

Why you got it in for Canadians, without thousands of them dying you wouldnt be boating now!! dont forget this forum is international.

TCM's just jealous - he must have figured out that Canadians are Brits who actually managed to sail out of sight of land.
