The strangest thing happened today.

I sprayed some Neutradol around the boat today, just a shirt squirt in the main cabin, and the Dual Watch Gas / CO alarm went off indicating gas.

Never knew it coukd do that; although Neutradol does pong a bit.

What's the propellant for the aerosol? Probably something pretty similar to Butane or Propane, I'd guess. At least you know your alarm works.

There are a number of products branded " Neutradol"
Butane is used as the propellant in at least the "Original" room spray.

Over zealous use of an aerosol spray of any kind in the confines of a small boat cabin perhaps best avoided although many do use CO2.
