I have inherited a Neptune DSC VHF which has never been interfaced with a GPS. The Neptune comes with a co-ax cable with DIN socket apparently for connecting to a DIN plug on the radio.
I believe the position O/P from the Furuno is on white and blue (ground) but I have tried every combination both of the cables and NMEA O/P's from the GPS; and the radio still obstinately reports No Signal.
The Neptune Handbook has no helpful information,
Anyone out there managed to make a connection?
