I’m going to buy some neoprene as a gasket round my leaky cabin window. It will be a continuous piece of neoprene. Has anyone done similar? I’m looking for advice as to what thickness of neoprene and also the hardness of the stuff. Re thickness, I was thinking 3mm. Hardness seems to be measure using a ”shore A” calculation so I’m wondering if anyone has any tips having done the same thing. The window frame has a total of 18 bolt holes for that reason I think neoprene would be better than butyl tape and I’m not messing about with ct1, sika flex, etc.
Any advise greatly and warmly received.
