The burner just dropped off in my oven. Funny how you never look at how things are put together until they fall apart. I *think* it used to be riveted to a plate which is attached to the oven by a screw (allowing you to adjust the angle with respect to the flame sensor), but the rivets have failed. I say "riveted": there's holes in the burner and sticky outy metal bits on said plate: I presume it was doing more than just hanging there before as it didn't used to fall off when heeled. lining up the holes where I think it used to be attached there's a bit over a centimetre gap between the gas pipe and the burner for the incoming gas to jump across. is this correct (so it mixes with air to aid combustion or something)?

Anyone got a diagram of how these things are put together? The manual on the Thetford website doesn't seem to have pictures of the burner.

The gap sounds large but if its what you think there will be a jet in the end of the pipe
