Hi Guys and Dolls, i really need your help in getting hold of a 10"x13" pitch Prop L/H, to fit a 3/4 shaft on my Langstone Fisherman Built by W.N.R MEAGHAN BOAT-BUILDERS 402 Locksway Rd, Milton Locks Portsmouth back in the early seventies. With the big day getting nearer for launching it, i am in desperate need of a propeller as some scoundrel :disgust:took a fancy to the one i fitted to it. It was a 10x13 L/H Prop and the shaft is 3/4", so if any kind person has one of these kicking around in the corner of there shed or garage or even there scrap pile, i would be very very grateful and would be only too happy to take it off there hands for cash.
Many thank guys and dolls....

Foulkes Chandlery Barge in Blundell Lane, Bursledon has a container full of props. You will need also to know which hand you require, and I can't explain here which is which, but a right hand prop spins clockwise for fwd viewed from the stern looking forward (or is that left hand ?).

That is not a very common size and you will be really lucky to find a second hand one. The size and rotation would normally be stamped on the boss. A 3/4" will almost certainly have a standard 1:12 taper.

New props are available from a range of suppliers such as www.sillette.co.uk
