Need to recycle your old sails?

I'm looking for any old sails no longer worthy for the seas.
I'm starting up a community veg growing business and need to cover a large area of ground over winter with heavy duty plastic - sails would be great. So if you have some old sails that you would love to be rid of please contact me.
I can collect any near to north Suffolk/South Norfolk area.

I'm not sure that sails are light proof. Doesn't weed coverage have to keep the light out?

Holticultural fleece would be more appropriate, a wast of good sailcloth that can be up-cycled.

Oh right - i thought they would be because of the thickness.

No, definitely must be light proof - we often use old fertiliser bags, cut open, black side down, weighted down with bricks/timber.
