Need to buy flares Solent Area? Really Good price at Marine Warehouse Fareham.

Today I bought an Ikaros Coastal Flare pack from Marine Warehouse in Fareham (Percy M See Ltd) for £74.99. Expiry date December 2016. Other flares packs seemed very competitively price too, though I'm afraid I did not take notes.

Previous best price I could find was Arthurs in Gosport (£90.00) with other local chandlers selling at £100+

i get mine from a Co who service life rafts & buy those flares taken from rafts but are still in date. a few £s in the tea kitty

Thanks for this tip. Not just the flares that are cheap, picked up some 14mm braided marlow dock lines for £18 each for 10m with the eye.

Spoke to the owner, he says he tries to pitch his prices at competitive ones v the Internet. No poncy clothing brands but if you want sensible chandlery........
