Hi, I am the proud owner of a boat which stood on my drive for 15years, until my wife finally had enough and threatened to get it taken away if I didn't refurbish it and get it back on the water and off the drive! Well, she's on the water now, and hasn't sunk yet, but I am wondering if anyone out there could help me sort out my tohatsu 2.5 - 140 HP two-stroke outboard? It is pretty ancient, and I have got a manual 1992 - 2000 but it's older than that, and I think there may be a problem with the carburetor, but it might be something as simple as low on oil - can't even find where to put the oil in! If anyone can help me that would be great, or even let me know where I can locate a pre 1992 manual or something. Wife's not happy now cos it's just stuck in the mooring not going anywhere!
