Seeing that my main bilge pump is out of commision, waiting for parts. I made an attempt making the hand pump work. Opened it up to inspect the membrane. -no damages to be seen. Changed the rubber one-way valbe at the outlet since it was kind of torn. Put it back together and now I am getting nothing but air. I guess the seal between pump house and membrane is not tight enough? It was very hard getting it back together. Any advice on how to put it together properly?
