So in 1940s there wouldn't have been any boatbuilding yards then. Perhaps the boats in the photo were built elsewhere. Was the port there at the time of your first visit?
Need help identifying the boats in the photo. Taken near King Farouk's rest house in Hurghada, Egypt in 1940s.
