Bridge clearance is 16ft 10in with everything up. Owners manual available on line. Just google Cruiser Yacht 3850.

I remember the thread some time back before he bought this boat, advising it was the wrong boat for Thames use because of the air draft issue.

Yes ProDave. I did receive a good deal of advice that time. From buying, and dealing with the transportation, etc. A lot of inputs and helps received. Many thanks! People told me this is too high air draft for the river. True! It just my wife really like her. So I was planning to keep her in the see for a while at that time. But finally we decided bring her home. And I though we will be okay to enjoy her on the Thames by removing all the antenna and arch.
That is okay to me if 4.3 metres air draft is okay to get through all the bridges from Shepperton to the sea. I will try to drive to Hammersmith bridge later some weekend to get the feeling. Then up to Windsor another weekend.

Looking at your pictures, I would leave the hard top, on the bow.
Why make things more difficult ?
A High Water, with Low Air Pressure, is usually higher, than a High Water with High Air Pressure.
You sound like you know nothing of this.
So, your best bet, is to leave the canopies off, then ask around, who is a good delivery skipper ?
Paying a guy, who knows what he is doing, is going to be cheaper, than paying for a load of courses, that take quite a while, to understand, then mis calculating something somewhere, as you try on your own !
Tidal Ranges, below Teddington, can range on Springs around 6 meters and on Neaps, around 4 Meters, again, depending on wind direction and Air Pressure .

What is the airdraught with arch and stern deck canopy removed? Why not leave them off and get a soft canopy to cover the flybridge?

The air draught with arch and stern deck canopy removed is about 3.5 metres. Just, we are trying to keep the stern deck canopy if possible.

Ok, My reply, was based on, you moving to somewhere, on the tidal thames.
ie, a one time move.
Once you have got a space, anywhere there, then yes, put your hard top etc back where you want it, as it would not have to be removed again, as you would just have to wait for the right state of tide, to leave or enter, wherever you decide to keep the boat.
